Accessibility statement

This page describes current practice in plain language. It is a statement of how Ezra operates, not legal advice to you. Where a signed agreement exists between Ezra and an agency, that agreement controls.

Commitment

Ezra works to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA across the public website. Accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than a later correction.

This commitment reflects the standards used under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Michigan Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act.

Conformance status

The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means most of the content meets the standard and known gaps are listed below with a plan to close them.

Conformance is assessed by internal review using keyboard only navigation, screen reader spot checks, automated rule checks, and contrast measurement.

What is in place

Pages use a single main landmark, an ordered heading structure, descriptive page titles, visible focus outlines, keyboard reachable controls, skip navigation, text alternatives for meaningful images, empty alternatives for decoration, labelled form fields with errors described in text as well as colour, and colour pairings measured against the contrast requirements.

Layouts reflow to a 320 pixel viewport without horizontal scrolling, text can be resized to two hundred percent, target sizes meet the minimum for pointer input, and animated product scenes stop when the operating system requests reduced motion. Every animated conversation can also be read as plain text.

Known limitations

The animated workspace scenes are illustrative. They are supported by text alternatives, but the moving presentation may still be demanding for some readers.

A formal third party audit has not yet been completed. One is planned before general availability, and this page is updated with the result.
